"Blush" is a narrative quest to reconcile the past with the present. Depicting a recent yet idealized past, the series presents a familiar memory rooted in the dreamlike imagery of nostalgia. It is a cathartic attempt to repurpose the meaning of memories through their inevitably distorted recreations. The result is a grasp at the ineffable.

"how I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb" is 2 years of photographs taken on cellphones. It is a mock spiritual journey of accepting photographs for their content rather than what piece of equipment they were shot on. My mantra became, "it's not the camera, it's the photographer." Slowly lulled by technology and convenience, I gave into the machine.
