“Hot Thoughts” is an ongoing project that combines still-lives and self-portraiture to explore the deuling emotions of fear and relief that arise in the experience of living.

Set in a dark, vaguely suburban landscape, I grapple with the question, “How can one feel so at ease yet so uneasy?”

I embody the final girl in the horror film adaptation of my life, serving as a stand-in for viewers.
